指將某物從一邊擺到另一邊，特別指尾巴或手指的動作。常用來描述狗開心時搖尾巴。

通常用於動物的尾巴（如“wag your tail”），有時也指用手指比劃表示不贊同（'wag a finger'）。屬於口語用詞。不要和 'wave'（揮手）混淆。
