誰かや何かを公式に、または繰り返し訪れることや、超常現象や霊的な存在の出現を指します。

'訪問'よりも形式的で、法律用語（親権関連の面会）、宗教的・超常現象の文脈で使われます。特に繰り返しや公式な訪問に使われることが多いです。
