다른 사람이나 자료, 문서에 확인하여 무언가가 맞는지 점검하는 것.

공식, 직장 등에서 자주 사용. 다른 사람이나 자료 등 구체적 대상을 뒤에 붙임('verify with 매니저'). 단순히 직접 확인하는 것보다 외부와의 확인이 필요.
