Definition

집 외부에 붙어있는 지붕이 달린 넓은 공간으로, 주로 앞이나 옆에서 쉬거나 앉을 수 있는 곳입니다.

'베란다'는 벽 없이 넓고 지붕이 있는 공간을 의미하며, 한국에서 아파트의 '베란다'와는 다릅니다. 미국 영어의 'porch'와 비슷합니다.
