心室とは、心臓や脳の中にある空間です。心臓の心室は血液を送り出し、脳の心室は液体で満たされています。

医療や科学分野でよく使われます。'Heart ventricles'は心臓の下側の部屋で血液を送り出します。'Brain ventricles'は液体で満たされた脳の空間ですが、使用頻度は低めです。'心房（atrium）'と混同しないように注意しましょう。
