Definition

大桶や槽とは、主に液体や化学薬品を工業的に貯蔵・加工するための大きな容器のことです。

工業や科学の現場で使われる専門用語です。「発酵槽」「染色槽」などと組み合わせて使います。家庭用の容器には使いません。

They filled the vat with fresh grape juice.
