‘蜂起’や‘暴動’は歴史や政治の文脈で使われることが多く、『armed uprising』は『武装蜂起』と言う。‘抗議’（抗議活動）や‘暴動’（秩序がない混乱）とは異なり、組織的な集団行動が特長。
