Definition

結ばれているものをほどいたり、結び目をゆるめたり、縛ってあるものを外すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に靴ひも、ロープ、リボンなど実際に結ばれている物に使う。比喩的にも使えるが一般的ではない。
