"two strikes against one" in Japanese

この表現は、すでに二つの不利や困難があるため、成功するのがより難しくなる状況を指します。特に最初からハンディがある場合などに使います。

野球用語が由来ですが、普段の会話でも「私は最初から二つの不利がある」などの形で使われます。「two strikes against me/you」などの英語表現の形で耳にすることが多いです。
