Definition

কোনো কিছু ঘুরিয়ে বা ঘুরিয়ে-পাকিয়ে নাড়া, অথবা নিজের শরীর ঘুরিয়ে নেওয়া। কখনো কখনো দিক পরিবর্তন করাকেও বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘twist around’ ব্যবহার হয় কিছু খুলতে (‘twist around the cap’), অথবা কোনো কিছুর চারপাশে ঘুরে যাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে। ‘twist’ শুধু বাঁকানো বোঝাতে পারে, কিন্তু ‘twist around’ ঘুরিয়ে নেওয়ার উপর জোর দেয়।
