الـشجار أو الـصراع هو مواجهة قصيرة، غالبًا جسدية، لكنها قد تكون أيضًا جدالًا حادًا فقط.

كلمة 'tussle' غير رسمية وتستعمل للمواجهات الخفيفة سواء الجسدية أو الجدلية. شائعة في عبارات مثل 'have a tussle' و 'tussle over' ولا تُعتبر خطيرة مثل 'fight'.
