「Turns」は「turn」の複数形で、方向転換、順番、多様な変化などを意味します。人が交代で何かをする場合にも使います。

“Take turns”は「順番にする」という意味です。「left/right turn(s)」は道の曲がり角、「turns out」は「結局～になった」という意味で使われます。
