উপর থেকে নিচে ধীরে ধীরে কিছু প্রবাহিত হওয়া। অর্থনীতিতে, এই ধারণা বোঝায় যে ধনীদের জন্য লাভ শেষ পর্যন্ত সমাজের বাকি অংশে পৌঁছাবে।

বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে অর্থনীতিতে “trickle-down economics” হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়, যা সমালোচিত তত্ত্ব। দৈনন্দিন কথায় ধীরে নিচে নামা বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়।
