শরীর বা কোনো জিনিস হালকা ভাবে কাঁপা, সাধারণত ঠান্ডা, ভয় বা উত্তেজনায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'tremble' সাধারণত মানুষ ও প্রাণীর ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার হয়, তবে কোনো জিনিসের ক্ষেত্রেও হতে পারে। 'tremble with fear/cold' ফ্রেজের মতোভাবে ব্যবহার হয়। 'shiver' প্রধানত ঠান্ডার জন্য হয়, 'tremble' সাধারণত ভয় বা অনুভূতির জন্য।
