何か（場所や障害物など）を越えて進むこと。地理や比喩的な意味でも使われます。

「traversing」はフォーマルや専門的な文脈で使われることが多いです。「mountainをtraverseする」など冒険や技術的な状況でよく用います。日常的な横断にはあまり使いません。
