Definition
Escribir, teclear o registrar palabras habladas o audio en forma escrita. También puede significar copiar texto escrito de una forma a otra.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Muy usado en contextos académicos, médicos y legales. Se usa para escribir entrevistas, clases o conversaciones grabadas. También se puede usar en música (escribir notas escuchadas), pero es menos común. No es lo mismo que 'traducir'. 'Transcription' es el sustantivo.
