'tranquility' সাধারণত প্রকৃতি, স্থান বা মানসিক অবস্থার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'peace and tranquility' বা 'seek tranquility' বলা হয়। এটি আনুষ্ঠানিক; কথ্য বাংলায় 'শান্ত' বা 'নিরিবিলি' বেশি শোনা যায়।
