他人や自分に強い苦痛や悩み、不快感を与えることを表します。身体的・精神的な苦しさの両方に使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「苦しめる」「悩ませる」は深い痛みや苦悩、長く続く精神的負担に使います。「bother」と比べて程度が強いです。「tormenting thoughts」のような表現でよく使われます。
