船や貨物のトン単位での大きさや重さを示す言葉です。主に輸送や物流分野で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「トン数」は主に船舶や物流で使われ、「gross tonnage（総トン数）」「cargo tonnage（貨物トン数）」などの表現があります。小さい物や量には使いません。
