名目上の地位や肩書きを持っているが実際の権力はない人、またはタイトルに名前が入っていることを指す。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「titular head」や「titular character」のように、形式的な役職やタイトルに関して使います。普段の会話や実際の権限がある場合には使いません。
