レストランやホテル業界で稼いだチップの一部を他のスタッフと分け合うこと。

主に北米のレストランやバーで使われる業界用語です。「tip out to the busser」のように役割名を続けて使います。『tip-off』（情報提供）とは区別してください。名詞的にも使われます（『tip-out』）。
