Definition

চাষ বা জমি কর্ষণ মানে হচ্ছে জমির মাটি উল্টানো ও খুঁড়ে নরম করা, সাধারণত তা চাষের জন্য প্রস্তুত করার উদ্দেশ্যে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এই শব্দটি সাধারণত কৃষিকাজ ও বড় জমিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'tilling the land' বা 'tilling the soil' বলতে পুরো জমি চাষ করার কথা বোঝানো হয়, ছোট পরিসরে গর্ত খোঁড়া এর জন্য নয়।
