Definition

一个古老的词，意思相当于对单数对象说的“你的”。现在主要见于《圣经》、祈祷文、诗歌和较早的文学作品中。

它通常和古英语代词 'thou'、'thee' 一起出现。遇到元音开头的词时，古文里常用 'thine' 而不是 'thy'（如 'thine eyes'，但 'thy hand'）。现代日常英语里基本不用，除非你想营造圣经式、诗意或幽默的效果。
