Definition

重いものや柔らかいものが床などに落ちたときに出る、鈍くて大きな音のこと。多くは繰り返しや複数回鳴る音を指す。

複数形で使い、繰り返しの音を表現します。物語や情景描写でよく使われます。「bangs」や「pounds」とは違い、やや鈍い音です。
