Definition

손을 빠르게 움직여 무언가를 공중으로 던져 누군가나 무언가에게 향하게 하는 것.

상대가 받기를 원할 때 'throw to'를 사용('throw the ball to me'). 'throw at'은 맞히려는 의미니 혼동 주의. 주로 스포츠나 물건을 건넬 때 씀. 어조는 보통.

Please throw to me when you get the ball.

공을 받으면 나에게 **던져줘**.

He threw to his teammate during the game.

그는 경기 중에 팀원에게 **던졌다**.
