手で素早く何かを空中に投げて、誰かや何かを狙うこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「throw to」は相手が受け取ることを期待して投げる際に使う（例: “throw the ball to me”）。「throw at」は命中させる意図なので区別。スポーツやものを渡すときによく使う。トーンは中立的。
