নিয়ন্ত্রণহীন ও জোরে জোরে নাড়াচাড়া করা, সাধারণত ব্যথা, ভয় বা মুক্তি পাওয়ার চেষ্টায়।

এটি অপ্রাতিষ্ঠানিক ও দৈহিক wild movements বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, বিশেষত পানিতে বা আতঙ্কিত অবস্থায়। নিয়ন্ত্রিত গতিতে নয়; বরং জোরেশোরে ছটফটানোর অবস্থা বোঝায়।
