একটি গুল্ম বা ঝোপ, যার শাখায় অনেক ধারালো কাঁটা থাকে।

'thornbush' সাধারণত জঙ্গলে, পাহাড়ে বা ঝোঁপঝাড়ে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'thorn' শুধু কাঁটা বোঝায় আর 'bush' সাধারণ ঝোপকে বোঝায়।
