কারও কাছে কোনো বিষয়ে চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার অধিকার বা ক্ষমতা; কিংবা বিতর্ক বা আলোচনায় শেষ কথা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'the final word' সাধারণত গুরুতর বা আনুষ্ঠানিক পরিবেশে ব্যবহৃত হয়; 'শেষ কথা' বোঝাতে পারেন। উদাহরণ: 'have the final word' মানে 'চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া'।
