어떤 일을 끝내거나 멈추게 하는 것. 주로 비즈니스나 계약, 공식적인 상황에서 사용됨.

‘끝나다’보다 격식 있고, 주로 계약이나 서비스 만료 때 사용. 누군가를 해고할 때도 씀 ('해고되다').
