「取る」の古い、文語的な三人称単数形で、聖書やシェイクスピア時代の英語で使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
現代英語では使用されず、聖書や古典文学、詩的な文脈でのみ登場します。通常の会話や文章では 'takes' を使います。「the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away」のような表現で見かけます。
