Expressão informal e muito comum em contextos de brincadeiras, jogos ou atividades coletivas. Em inglês, normalmente se usa com verbo no gerúndio: 'take turns cooking'. Difere de 'take turns with', que sugere alternar o uso de um objeto. Usado com crianças e adultos.
