誰かや何かを場所（道路・川・国境など）の片側からもう片側に渡らせること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

基本的に物理的に場所を渡らせる意味で使い、『the street』『the river』などとよく一緒に使う。比喩的な意味は珍しい。
