誰かを遠回しに、または皮肉をこめて批判すること。時には物理的に攻撃しようとする意味もあるが、主に言葉での批判に使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

くだけた表現で、冷やかしや皮肉、間接的な批判によく使う。「take a dig at」や「have a go at」に近いニュアンス。ほとんどが言葉での攻撃を指す。
