Tentar acertar alguém ou algo com um movimento rápido do braço ou de um objeto, geralmente numa luta ou desporto.

Muito usado em desportos (por exemplo, basebol) e lutas. Indica tentativa, não acerto. Normalmente acompanhado do alvo ('swing at a bola'). Não é usado fora desses contextos.
