Definition

風に揺れる木や波に浮かぶボートのように、ゆっくりと何度も左右に動くこと。

やさしくリズミカルな動きに使われ、急激や激しい動きには使わない。木、船、踊っている人、めまいのときによく用いられ、叙述的で詩的な表現。
