'Sway back and forth' कोमल और लयबद्ध गति के लिए उपयोग होता है, तेज़ या झटकेदार नहीं। विशेषकर पेड़, कुर्सी या नाचते लोग पर। यदि तेज़ हिलना हो तो 'shake', 'rock' जैसे शब्द उपयोग करें।
