এটি একটি ভবন, জাহাজ বা কোনো কাঠামোর প্রধান ভিত্তির উপরে নির্মিত অংশ। সমাজবিজ্ঞানে, এটি এমন ধারণা বা ব্যবস্থা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় যা মূল কাঠামোর উপর ভিত্তি করে গড়ে ওঠে।
