यह विश्वास कि कुछ घटनाएँ, क्रियाएँ या वस्तुएँ शुभ या अशुभ ला सकती हैं, आमतौर पर बिना किसी वैज्ञानिक कारण के।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह शब्द उन लोगों के लिए है जो किस्मत को रस्म, अंक या चिन्हों से जोड़ते हैं। इसका स्वर हल्का नकारात्मक या मज़ाकिया होता है; वैज्ञानिक आधार नहीं होता। अक्सर 'about' के साथ आता है (जैसे 'superstitious about...')। 'religious' या 'spiritual' से भिन्न।
