Definition

最上級は、ある性質が一番高いことを表す語や文法形で、例えば「一番大きい」「最も速い」などがあります。

三つ以上のものを比べるときによく使われます。短い形容詞には「-est」を付け、長い形容詞は「most」を使います。'most fastest'のように両方を同時に使うのは間違いです。日常会話やレビューなど様々な場面で使われます。
