عندما يتم فعل شيء أو فهمه على المستوى السطحي فقط، بدون تعمق أو فهم حقيقي.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

غالبًا ما يُستخدم للدلالة على قلة العمق أو الفهم الحقيقي ('superficially similar', 'looked at superficially'). يُستخدم في سياقات رسمية أو شبه رسمية ونادرًا في الكلام العادي. لا تخلط بينه وبين 'briefly' (بإيجاز).
