과학적, 기술적 또는 묘사 상황에서 주로 사용됩니다. 대상을 실제로 물에 넣을 때 자주 쓰이고, "submerging yourself in work"처럼 은유적으로도 사용됩니다. 일상 회화에서는 드물게 나옵니다.
