উপ-সংস্কৃতি মানে হচ্ছে এমন একটি দল, যারা বড় সমাজের অংশ হলেও নিজেদের আলাদা বিশ্বাস, শৈলী বা আগ্রহ নিয়ে গঠিত।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এই শব্দটি সাধারণত সমাজবিজ্ঞান বা সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'যুব উপ-সংস্কৃতি', 'সংগীত উপ-সংস্কৃতি', 'অনলাইন উপ-সংস্কৃতি'—এরকম মিল পাওয়া যায়। পুরোপুরি আলাদা সংস্কৃতির জন্য নয়, মূল সংস্কৃতির ভেতরে পার্থক্য বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
