줄무늬는 옷, 동물, 디자인 등에 나타나는 길고 좁은 색상이나 무늬입니다. 군대나 공식 계급 표시에 쓰이기도 합니다.

"줄무늬"는 보통 옷이나 동물의 무늬를 말하며, '줄무늬 양말'처럼 자주 사용됩니다. "계급장"은 군대 등에서의 계급 표시로, 'earn your stripes'는 경력이나 업적을 쌓는다는 의미입니다. 세로 구분(칼럼)에는 사용하지 않습니다.
