Definition

ストーブは、料理や部屋を暖めるために使う装置です。主に電気、ガス、または木材を燃料にします。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「ストーブ」は暖房器具、「レンジ」は調理用の器具を指す場合が多いです。アメリカ英語では調理用、日本英語や英国英語では暖房も意味するので注意。'Gas stove'はガスコンロ、'electric stove'は電気コンロです。「oven」とは異なります。
