Definition
马镫是马鞍两侧各挂一个的扁圆圈或环，用来支撑骑手的脚。这个词有时也指其他类似的支撑装置，如医疗检查时使用的支撑架。

多用于骑马，但在医学中也可用（如妇科检查时的腿支架）。通常成对出现（一只脚一个）。不要和 “stir up”（搅拌、激起）混淆。
