Definition
Passado de 'stay'. Significa ficar num lugar ou estado, ou alojar-se temporariamente, como num hotel ou em casa de alguém.
Usage Notes (Portuguese (PT))
Usa-se muito com lugares ('stayed home', 'stayed at a hotel') e com adjetivos ou estados ('stayed calm', 'stayed the same'). 'Stay' é diferente de 'live': normalmente indica algo temporário. Padrões comuns: 'stay up', 'stay in', 'stay with someone'.
