Definition

어떤 일을 시작하거나, 시작되게 하는 것. 행동, 사건, 과정 등이 시작되는 때를 말합니다.

격식과 일상 모두에서 자주 쓰이며, 'start a project', 'start a car', 'start a conversation'처럼 다양하게 응용됩니다. 'begin'은 좀 더 격식적입니다.

I will start my homework now.
