Começar a fazer ou trabalhar em algo, especialmente uma tarefa ou projeto. Também pode significar iniciar a preparação de algo.

Expressão informal e comum para falar de iniciar tarefas, projetos ou refeições ('start on dinner'). Diferente de 'start to' (começar a fazer) e 'start at' (começar em um horário/posição).
