"start back" in Korean

뒤로 시작하다뒤로 물러나다

Definition

이전 위치나 자리로 돌아가거나, 앞으로 갔다가 뒤로 물러나는 것. 중단한 곳에서 다시 시작한다는 뜻도 있음.

주로 문학적이거나 서술체에서 사용됨 ('start back home'). 단순히 처음부터 다시 한다는 뜻이 아님('start over'와 다름). 물리적으로 돌아가거나, 중단한 데서 재개할 때 쓴다.

It's late, so we should start back now.

늦었으니 이제 **뒤로 돌아가야** 해.

After lunch, they started back on their journey.

점심 먹고 그들은 다시 **여정을 시작했다**.

He started back when he heard a strange noise.
